Time, the devourer of all things

July 28th – Kurisu’s Death Day

Today is the day Kurisu died in the Beta Attractor Field. The Steins;Gate Zero Website has been updated with parting messages from her friends and another desktop background.

I’ll translate what it says here;

Makise Kurisu, born July 25th 1992, died at the age of 18.
A student of the American Victor Chondria University, she skipped several grades and graduated at a young age.
She proceeded to become a researcher at the very same university, specializing in the field of Neuroscience. Another notable accomplishment was having a thesis published in the well-known Sciency Magazine at the tender age of 17.

“Try as I might, I don’t believe I’ll ever find another scientist anywhere near as cute, wise, inquisitive, captious, and merciless as you were, Kurisu.”
– Alexis Leskinen

“Kurisu. It would be no stretch of the imagination to say that you had the talent of someone favored by God. You were amazing.
Time and again you took what I held to be common sense and tore it to shreds, and time and again my respect and admiration towards you only increased…
And of course, the last thing I learned from you is that I’ll never be able to become like the person you were.”
– Maho Hiyajo

  4. Does the website have any new merchandise for Steins;Gate? I remember seeing a post a long time back about it, but I haven’t seen any update on that. I would love a copy of Suzuha’s letter if that is ever available at a reasonable price.

    Also, thanks for the post! New desktop background now 🙂
