Time, the devourer of all things

SciADV #4 Revealed – ChäoS;Child

Not a release this time, but a new post.
The 4th installment in the Science Adventure Series has just been announced.

Edit: I translated the PV, check it out here.

Company director Chiyomaru Shikura recently posted the following image showcasing the new game:

Being described as a “Delusional Science Adventure”, it is titled ChäoS;Child and is directly linked to ChäoS;HEAd.
It also shares the setting of Shibuya and similar psychotic themes.
Get excited! (PC Port never)

Edit: More information revealed, it will be set in the year 2015 and is set to feature several nods and tie-ins to ChäoS;HEAd NoAH.
The plot will have something to do with mysterious “Sumo Seals” (Rikishi Seals) that have been placed around the Shibuya Area on telephone poles, walls and other public locations, how these seals are important and what they are for have not yet been revealed.

      • True, most when thinking of Chaos;head the anime comes to mind. What a let down that was, the VN on the other hand is on par with steins;gate if not surpassing it.
Hope chaos;child is as good as Chaos;head.
Also what about to Occult;nine, isn’t it the ‘sequel’ to robotics;notes. I’m guessing that it probably takes place to far out in time (chronologically) to be considered a part of the current three sci-fi adventure VNs, or it’ll probably stray into the occult as the title of it suggest.

      • Occultic;Nine is a light novel and completely disconnected from the SciADV series save a few references.

Hope this turn out better than RB ,i think it will be fine if they stick to the dark and realistic path of CH and SG(and they really should if they have learned their lesson from the attempt of :”broden the audiences” and forget the fans).Wait!Does that mean we can expect a trip back to akihabara some time in the future as well?I think my life has just had meaning again!

Can you get your hands on the Fuka Ryoiki no Deja Vu Manga from Shonen Ace? It’s written by Reki Kugayama, should have 2 volumes. It’d be nice to read that… ^^
